Gaza, 15 Rabiul Awwal 1436/6 January 2015 (MINA)– Thirteen Palestinians from Gaza on Monday were allowed to enter Israel to visit family members jailed in Eshel prison, a Red Cross spokeswoman said.

Suheir Zaqqut of the International Committee of the Red Cross told Ma’an that 13 Palestinians, including two children, were able to cross into Israel to visit nine jailed relatives, Maan News Agency quoted by Mi’raj Islamic News Agency (MINA) as reporting.

There are some 450 Palestinians from the Gaza Strip in Israeli jails. Israel denied Gaza prisoners family visits when Hamas took control of the Gaza Strip in 2007, but in July 2012, family visits resumed.
