King of Jordan, Indonesia’s Counter-Terrorism Agency Chief Discuss Cooperation

Discussing cooperation on counter-terrorism.

Amman, MINA – King Abdullah II of Jordan and Suhardi Alius, Chief of Indonesia’s National Counter-terrorism Agency, met on Saturday and discussed ways to enhance cooperation between Jordan and Indonesia, especially in the field of security.

The meeting also tackled regional and international efforts with regard to the war on terrorism within a comprehensive strategy, WAM reported, citing the news carried by the Jordanian News Agency, Petra,

In addition to courtesy call to the Head of State of Jordan, Head of BNPT is also scheduled to meet the Minister of Home Affairs of Jordan and attend also “Aqaba Process Meeting”.

The Aqaba meeting is a meeting in order to improve consultation and coordination in counterterrorism efforts based on a comprehensive approach that sees terrorism as a global threat. (T/RS5/RS1)
