Bandar Lampung, 15 Rabiul Akhir 1437/25 January 2016 (MINA) – Imaamul Muslimin Yakhsyallah Mansur said that the presence of Islam on earth brings mercy, not curse.

He made the remarks during  Tabligh Akbar (Muslim gathering) held at the Abdurrahman Bin Auf Mosque here on Sunday.

This noble qualities of Islam are reflected when the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was facing hostility and cruelty of the polytheists, and the Prophet’s companions asked the apostle to curse them, but the Messenger of Allah refused to do so.

Truly the Pagans are worthy cursed, the Prophet did not fulfill their request, saying I was sent not to condemn or curse, but rather to bring mercy to the whole world, he explained.

“The Prophet is prohibited to condemn, nor to kill,” he added.

Furthermore, he also stressed the grace of Islam covers the entire universe. “To the trees, animals we should be affectionate.

Yakhsyallah also reminded the public, officials, and government not to associate Muslims with terrorism.

When there was a bomb attack in Tangerang by a non-Muslim, the perpetrators were not called  terrorists, but if the bomber was Muslim, he directly labeled as a terrorist. Terrorism is actually not related to religion and Islam does not teach terrorism, he said.

Jama’ah Muslimin is trying to spread Calphate based on prophethood system, as practiced by four caliphs, mentioned in the hadith as A’la Minhajin Nubuwwah Khilafah (caliphates who follow the footsteps of prophethood). (L/P008/R07)
