West Java Vice Governor Becomes Amirul Hajj

Bandung, 3 Dhulhujjah 1437/5 September 2016 (MINA) – The Vice Governor of West Java Deddy Mizwar will perform the pilgrimage this year. He will take off on Monday and become a leader of pilgrimage (Amirul Hajj) of West Java province.

Deddy Mizwar in his statement on Sunday asked the congregation to always keep health, especially now that the weather in the Holy Land is very hot. Antaranes reported.

“I also asked to the congregation to always bring drinking water, eat fruits and have enough rest, because it is associated with hot weather in the holy land. And beware also the spreading of Mers Corv virus,” said Deddy Mizwar in a press release.

He perform the pilgrimage with his wife R Giselawati Mizwar.

Deddy also asked to the pilgrims to pray in the Holy Land for the success of the National Sport Event (PON) which the West Java province becomes a host for this year.

“It’s been 61 years we did not become the champion in th event. And now is our chance as a host. I asked the congregation to pray for the successfully and smoothly event. May the blessing of Allah the Almighty always for us and also for the athletes,” said the Deputy Governor. (R03/R04)
