SHEIKH SALAH CALLS ON YOUTHS TO LAUNCH EVENTS IN SUPPORT OF JERUSALEM
Al-Quds (Jerusalem), 14 Dzulqa’idah 1434/20 September 2013 (MINA) – The head of the Islamic movement in the 1948 occupied Palestinian territories, Sheikh Raed Salah, called on the Palestinians, Arabs and Muslims to organize activities in support of Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Sheikh Raed Salah was commenting on the daily attacks by the occupation authorities on Al-Aqsa Mosque and the worshipers, the latest of which took place on Tuesday evening when the IOF attacked the worshipers and prevented them from entering the mosque.
Sheikh Salah also urged the Islamic Nation to support and defend Jerusalem, and called on its scholars to take serious moves and defend Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Regarding the possibility of the outbreak of a new intifada (uprising) on the anniversary of the Al-Aqsa Intifada, he stressed that all possibilities are open as long as the occupation continues to escalate its aggression.
Meanwhile, the Islamic Jihad movement called on the Palestinian resistance with all its arms and brigades to get ready for “a battle to determine the future of the city of Jerusalem,” in light of the Israeli continued Judaization plan in the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Daoud Shehab, a spokesman for the movement, told Quds Press commenting on the occupation’s attack on worshipers in Al-Aqsa Mosque: “The Palestinian resistance with its different factions must be ready for this decisive battle,” and called on the resistance factions to unite their ranks in confronting the Israeli plans in Jerusalem.
He warned that the Israeli occupation authorities “began the implementation of the final chapter of their plan to control the Al-Aqsa Mosque and divide it,” according to Al Qassam report monitored by Mi’raj News Agency (MINA). (T/P02/E1)
