Al-Khalil, 18 Safar 1437/29 November 2015 (MINA) – Several Palestinian protestors were left injured afternoon Thursday after the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) rolled into refugee camps in the southern West Bank province of al-Khalil.

A PIC news reporter said the Israeli occupation troops stormed the Fawar refugee camp and attacked the unarmed Palestinian protestors and civilian homes with randomly-discharged spates of live rounds, rubber bullets, and tear gas canisters, The Palestinian Information Center (PIC) quoted by Mi’raj Islamic News Agency (MINA) as reporting.

A Palestinian citizen sustained live bullet wounds in the clashes that burst out in the area and two others were shot with rubber bullets in the head. Another elderly woman was left wounded after an army jeep hit her house wall, causing it to collapse.

Meanwhile, dozens of Palestinian passers-by had been subjected to exhaustive inspection by the occupation patrols deployed at a military checkpoint near the main entrance to the Fawar camp.

An outburst of clashes further rocked Bethlehem’s northern Aida refugee camp, in the southern West Bank.

Heavy spates of machinegun fire were abruptly unleashed by the IOF in the area, sparking a state of panic among women and children.

The IOF further sealed off the western entrance to the nearby Beit Jala city with cement roadblocks.(T/P008/R03)
