PALESTINIAN ACTIVIST CALLS ON UNITED TO STOP ISRAELI OCCUPATION
Banten, 15 Jumada Awwal 1434/26 March 2013 (MINA) – Muhammad Ziyad Qaddoura (23 years old), student activists of Al-Aqsa University, Palestine called on all Muslims in Indonesia and all around the world to unite and stop the Israeli aggression against the Palestinians that has been going on for decades.
He delivered his speech at Tabligh Akbar Jama’ah Muslimin (Hizbullah) at Masjid Al-Hasanah, Banten, West Java, Indonesia on Sunday (24/3). “Al-Quran calls us to unite, as Allah says in Surah Ali Imran, 103 and Al-Hujurat, 10. So when we come together to unite, we will be strength, “said the Gazan after reading these verses.
In the occation entitled “Realizing Muslim brotherhood to Free Al-Aqsa Mosque from the grip of Zionist Israel,” Qaddoura stated that although Indonesia physically is far away from the land of Palestine, but by the creed it is close, as well as they have high solidarity to defend their brothers in Palestine, he said.
“It shows that they have ukhuwah Islamiyah, the fraternity based on the call of faith, not because of kindship,” said the teacher of Tahsinul Qur’an who has become a hafidz since the age of 17 years old.
Qaddoura also said Muslims all around the world with its huge number and variety of potency, actually has enough ability to liberate Al-Aqsa and Palestine from Israeli occupation. But unfortunately, they think only about themselves and their communities.
“There are many Muslims who think about themselves, their own affairs. Other Muslims business, administered themselves. So, Al-Aqsa Mosque as a proprietary rights of Muslims, the first Qibla, less unnoticed, “he said, during his visit to Indonesia.
According to Qaddaura, there are many ways that can do due to liberating Al-Aqsa and Palestine. It can be on the forefront of the struggle, visit Al-Aqsa, fundrising, building a hospitals, providing a scholarships, educating youngsters to love Al-Quran and Al-Aqsa, realizing brotherhood and so on which shows that Islam is rahmatan lil alamin.
“All potential congregation united in one leadership as the liberator of the Al-Aqsa, Caliph Umar ibn Khattab and Salahuddin Al-Ayyubi did it in the past,” he said.
“Caliph Omar and Saladin, were not Palestinians, the next liberator of Al-Aqsa very likely come from outside Palestine, especially from Indonesia, as Muslims majority in the world,” he added.
Another speaker, Ali Farkhan Thani (Mi’raj News Agency (MINA)’s editor) talked about the virtues of Al-Aqsa According to Al-Quran and Al-Hadith and the Revealing Facts and Data of Israel-Palestine War. Abun Darusman (Volunteer of Medical Emergency Rescue Committee (Mer-C ) talked about Solidarity of Indonesian Muslims toward Palestinian Struggle Through the construction of an Indonesian Hospital in Gaza, and Agus Priyono (Waliyul Imaam of Jakarta and surroundings) talked about the obligation to unite in One leader to free Al-Aqsa.
