Gaza, MINA – The Israeli occupation army killed one Palestinian and injured twelve others in attacks across the Gaza Strip on Wednesday, marking further violations of a ceasefire agreement that has been in place for over two months, Anadolu Agency reported.
Medical sources reported that one person was killed and nine others were wounded when Israeli forces opened fire on homes in the town of Jabalia in northern Gaza. This area is one from which Israeli forces had withdrawn as part of the October truce.
In a separate incident, an Israeli drone struck the eastern part of Khan Younis in southern Gaza, an area within the army-controlled “yellow zone,” injuring three Palestinians. According to sources, the civilians were targeted while collecting wood near the border of the military zone.
Witnesses and local sources added that Israeli warplanes launched strikes on the eastern Al-Tuffah neighborhood of Gaza City, accompanied by artillery shelling and gunfire. In central Gaza, heavy gunfire from Israeli military vehicles and helicopters targeted Palestinian homes in the eastern Al-Bureij refugee camp. The southern cities of Khan Younis and Rafah also came under Israeli airstrikes, though there were no immediate reports of casualties from these specific attacks.
