OIC Chief Condemns Terror Attacks in Russia, Finland
Jeddah, MINA – The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) strongly condemned the recent terrorist stabbing attacks in Russia and Finland. At least two people were killed and eight others injured in the terrorist attack in the Finnish city of Turku on Friday while eight people injured in the Russian city of Surgut on Saturday.
OIC Secretary General Yousef Al-Othaimeen expressed the Organization’s solidarity with the government of Finland and its people in their fight against terrorism and extremism, IINA News reported.
He offered sincere condolences to the families of the victims and wished a prompt healing for the wounded.
Al-Othaimeen also denounced the atrocious terrorist attack in Surgut and expressed the Organization’s solidarity with the government of the Russian Federation and its people in their fight against terrorism and extremism.
Al-Othaimeen reiterated the OIC’s firm and principled position that vigorously condemns acts of terrorism in all their forms and manifestations.(T/R04/RS5)
