National Day, UAE Hails Bilateral Relations with Indonesia

Jakarta, MINA  – In its 47 th the national the day commemoration, United Arab Emirates hailed relationship with Indonesia in the field of economic and cultural exchanges.

“On this historic occation, I would like to hail the bilateral relations between UEA and Indonesia. These relations found their roots in the principles of cooperation and mutual respect, and involved into a strategic partnership with ecer-growing volume of commercial, economic and cultural exchanges,” said Ambassador Mohamed Abdulla Mohammed Bin Mutleq Alghafli, Jakarta, Monday.

Based on data, the trade between Indonesia and UAE is increasing from yera to year.  In 2017, the two countries’ trade reached US$ 3.7 compared to US$ 2.9 in 2016. While UAE investment to Indonesia reached US$ 3 billion and expected to increased 5-6 billion by 2020.

Ambassador also said, UAE will host the special Olympics World Games from 14-21 March 2019 which is to be the largest sporting and humanitarianevent in the world.

National Day of UAE is celebrated on 2 December each year. It marks the UAE’s Union Day between the seven emirates which was followed by the joining of the seventh emirate, Ras Al Khaimah, in 1971. (L/P2/)
