MIKTA to Promote Sustainable Development Priorities at IPI, MENA

Manama, MINA – The International Peace Institute, Middle East & North Africa (IPI, MENA) will host officials from Indonesia, South Korea and Turkey to address the Sustainable Development Priorities of MIKTA, on the sidelines of the 68th Session of the UN General Assembly on “Promotion Of Sustainable Development And Sustained Economic Growth”

The MIKTA- IPI, MENA Seminar will start at 10:30 am, on Tuesday, in the IPI, MENA office at 51-52 Harbour House, Bahrain Financial Harbour, Manama, Bahrain.

The seminar, to be moderated by Nejib Friji, Director of IPI, MENA, will feature presentations by Hatun Demirer, Turkish Ambassador, Muhsin Syihab, Director for Development, Economic & Environmental Affairs, Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Yoon Jiwan, Director of Policy Analysis, Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The presentation will be followed by an interactive session with the audience, which will include government officials, diplomats, representatives of civil society, private sector, media and academia.

MIKTA is an innovative partnership that brings together Mexico, Indonesia, Republic of Korea (ROK), Turkey and Australia.
