Ankara, 28 Safar 1437/10 December (MINA) –   Landmark Group, a leading multinational company in the Middle East, has suspended sales of Trump products via its Lifestyle retail stores, according to ArabianBusiness.com.

The Dubai-based company’s decision comes in response to U.S. Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump’s call to ban Muslims from the United States, Anadolu Agency reports as quoted by Mi’raj Islamic News Agency (MINA).

“In light of the recent statements made by the presidential candidate in the U.S. media, we have suspended sale of all products from the Trump Home decor range,” Arabian Business quoted Sachin Mundhwa, head of Lifestyle Outlets, as saying.

The move affects customers in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, and the UAE.

Trump has become a figure of ridicule on social media after he called for the U.S. to ban the entry of all Muslims.

Trump’s statement came after 14 people were killed last week by a married couple in California. Federal authorities said the attack is being investigated as terrorism. (T/P010/R04)
