Amman, MINA – Jordan has strongly condemned Israel’s repeated violations of the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip, the latest of which occurred on Saturday, resulting in the deaths and injuries of dozens of people.

Jordan stressed that these actions constitute a dangerous escalation that undermines regional and international efforts aimed at achieving security and stability in the Gaza Strip, SANA reported.

Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesperson Fuad al-Majali said in a statement, “The Kingdom categorically rejects and strongly condemns Israel’s violations of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza.”

He also called on Israel to comply with and implement the agreement, in addition to enforcing UN Security Council Resolution 2803, and to allow the delivery of adequate, sustained, and immediate humanitarian assistance to the Gaza Strip without obstruction.

Al-Majali urged the international community to shoulder its legal and moral responsibilities and to ensure Israel’s commitment to the ceasefire agreement.

He emphasized the need to avoid any measures that would undermine de-escalation efforts and to move toward a clear political horizon that realizes an independent and sovereign Palestinian state along the June 4, 1967 lines, with East Jerusalem as its capital, based on the two-state solution in accordance with international legitimacy resolutions and the Arab Peace Initiative.

The Gaza Government Media Office confirmed in a statement that since the ceasefire agreement came into effect on October 10, 2025, and up to the present day, Israeli occupation forces have committed a total of 1,450 violations of the agreement, in clear breach of international humanitarian law and in deliberate disregard of the agreement’s provisions and humanitarian protocols.

The United Nations and international agencies have warned that the continuation of Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip undermines the ceasefire agreement and threatens to further deteriorate the humanitarian situation.[]
