John Esposito to Discuss “Islam In America And Geopolitics” at St. Bonaventure

New York, 27 Dzulhijjah 1437/29 September 2016 (MINA) – John Esposito, professor of religion, international affairs and of Islamic studies at Georgetown University of America will discuss “Islam in America and Geo-politics” at 7 p.m. next Wednesday at St. Bonaventure University.

Esposito is one of the country’s most prominent scholars of Islamic studies, political Islam and Islamophobia,  IINA reported, quoting Bufallo News..

He has served as a consultant to the U.S. Department of State and other agencies, European and Asian governments, corporations, universities, and the media worldwide. More than 45 books and 100 articles of his have been translated into 35 languages.

He was also involved in the founding of St. Bonaventure’s Center for Arab and Islamic Studies. The talk will be held in the Robert R. Jones Board of Trustees Room of Doyle Hall. (T/P004)
