Hebron, 11 Rabi’ul Akhir 1436/1 February 2015 (MINA)– Israeli forces on Sunday morning arrested a Palestinian teenager near the Ibrahimi Mosque in the Old City of Hebron in the southern West Bank, claiming he was carrying a knife.

Locals told Ma’an that Israeli soldiers stationed at the entrance to the holy place arrested 18-year-old Anan Muhammad Suleiman Abu Salih from the town of Dura, claiming that a knife was in his possession when he tried to enter, Ma’an News Agency quoted by Mi’raj Islamic News Agency (MINA) as reporting.

The Ibrahimi Mosque in Hebron is often known in English as the Cave of the Patriarchs, and is divided into a Muslim and Jewish section with separate checkpoints and entrances. (T/P010/R04)
