Israeli Forces Kill Palestinian after Stabbing Policeman in Jerusalem

Ramallah, MINA – A Palestinian man was killed by Israeli forces in Jerusalem’s Old City after stabbing and injuring an Israeli guard, the Israeli media reported.

The local media pointed out that the Palestinian man stabbed the Israeli policeman several times in the upper part of his body, leaving him in a critical condition.

Other nearby Israeli policemen rushed to the scene and shot dead the man, it said, claiming that the man was from the West Bank’s city of Nablus.

The attack comes after a Friday car ramming attack by a Palestinian near Jenin in the northern West Bank that killed two Israeli soldiers and wounded two others, according to the Israeli army. (T/RS5/RS1)
