Israeli Airstrikes and Artillery Pound Multiple Gaza Areas Overnight

Gaza, MINA – The Israeli occupation army continued its military assault on the Gaza Strip early Saturday, carrying out aerial attacks, artillery shelling, and gunfire across multiple regions, PIC reported.

Palestinian media sources reported that Israeli warplanes conducted three successive airstrikes on eastern Khan Yunis. The airstrikes were accompanied by intense gunfire from Israeli military vehicles positioned in the area and significant aerial activity over southern Gaza.

Further north, in the central governorate, Israeli helicopters opened fire towards the eastern sections of the al-Bureij refugee camp. Similar attacks occurred in the south, where helicopters repeatedly targeted several sites in Rafah during the morning hours.

Gaza City also came under fire, with its eastern neighborhoods subjected to heavy gunfire from helicopters. Additionally, artillery shelling struck the eastern outskirts of the city, marking a widespread escalation of force.[]
