Gaza, MINA – Israeli occupation forces resumed intense military aggression across multiple areas of the Gaza Strip on Friday morning, marking a significant escalation. The attacks involved heavy artillery and aerial bombardments, accompanied by gunfire from military vehicles along frontlines, PIC reported.

According to field reports, northeastern areas of Khan Yunis City were heavily shelled, with Israeli helicopters firing continuously within the designated “yellow line” east of the city. Israeli warplanes also conducted multiple airstrikes on the Al-Tuffah neighborhood in eastern Gaza City. Further strikes targeted areas in Rafah and east of the Al-Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza. The escalation extended to the coastline, where Israeli naval vessels opened fire off the shore of Khan Yunis.

In parallel, Israeli forces launched a wide “fire belt” campaign in Rafah City early Friday, continuing demolitions in several neighborhoods. Official data states that Israel has now committed over 500 violations since the ceasefire agreement took effect on October 10.

In related political developments, the American news outlet Axios reported that US President Donald Trump is preparing to announce the launch of a second phase for the Gaza peace process before Christmas. The report indicates that a meeting between Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is expected before the month’s end to discuss the framework.
