IOF Launches Teal Gas Attacks on Palestinian School in Al-Khalil

Gaza, MINA – The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Tuesday morning attacked Palestinian schools with tear gas in the southern area of al-Khalil city.

Local sources told a reporter for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) that Israeli soldiers fired tear gas grenades at the schools of al-Khalil, Tareq bin Ziyad, al-Hajariya, and Khadija bint Khuwailid.

They added that volleys of tear gas canisters fell onto the yards of schools or around their perimeters during the morning student line-ups, causing many students and teachers to suffer from their exposure to fumes.

Consequently, the tear gas attacks disrupted classes in these schools and forced some students and teachers to go home. Meanwhile, the IOF intercepted many Palestinian cars in the southern area of al-Khalil and confiscated their keys during the attacks on schools.
