Istanbul, MINA – Delegates from various countries have begun crowding the Selectum City Ataşehir Hotel in Istanbul, ahead of the official opening of ERADA – The Jerusalem Covenant Conference, carrying the theme “Determination in the Face of Genocide and Elimination.” This international conference will take place on December 6-7, 2025, and is hoped to become one of the most strategic global forums regarding the Palestinian issue.
A MINA News Agency journalist, Arief Rahman, who is attending the event, reports that the conference, initiated by the Al-Quds International Foundation along with several partners, aims to strengthen the consolidation of support from the Islamic world and the international community for Al-Quds, Gaza, the West Bank, and all of Palestine.
One of its main focuses is the drafting of the “Jerusalem Covenant,” a joint stance document that will become the foundation for collaborative movement across countries and institutions. Furthermore, this event is connected to a meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Al-Quds International Foundation, which will discuss the organization’s policy direction for the 2026-2028 period.
From morning until night, the hotel lobby and reception area were seen filled with conference participants, committees, and representatives of institutions from the Middle East, Asia, Africa, and Europe. The registration process went smoothly, assisted by local committees who also provided pickup services from Istanbul Airport and Sabiha Gokcen Airport to the event location.

From Indonesia, the Chairman of the Inter-Parliamentary Cooperation Agency (BKSAP) of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Dr. Syahrul Aidi, who was recently inaugurated, is attending and representing the Indonesian Parliament at this high-level forum. Several Indonesian humanitarian organizations are also participating, including the Aqsa Working Group (AWG), Medical Emergency Rescue Committee (MER-C), SH Institute, Adara Relief International, as well as various other institutions consistently supporting the Palestinian people’s struggle.
Ahead of the conference opening, delegates utilized their time for bilateral meetings and informal discussions. They discussed opportunities for cooperation in the fields of diplomacy, advocacy, education, and strengthening international media networks.[]
