INDONESIAN 14TH ISLAMIC BOOK FAIR TO START ON 27 FEBRUARY 2015

Jakarta, 10 Dhul Hijjah 1435/4 October 2014 (MINA) –  The 14th Islamic Book Fair (IBF)  will be held at Istora Senayan Jakarta, February 27 to March 8, 2015 with the theme “Under the Shade of Al-Quran “.

“This theme is a picture of the community beliefs in the role of Al-Qur’an and Sunnah as guidelines that guide people in every step,” said Anis Baswedan as Chairman of the committee of the 14th IBF in 2015.

The 14th IBF was launched at the National Library in Jakarta. The launching ceremony was attended by Chairman of the Association of Indonesian Publishers (IKAPI) DKI Jakarta Afrizal Sinaro and hundreds of candidates from various exhibitors and publishers, on Wednesday.

Afrizal Sinaro said, IBF is a routine activity that has been held for 13 times, and it belongs to the people, in which the Islamic community, and publishers that were present at the Islamic Book Fair as well as the visitors always enliven the event.

Afrizal expressed his gratitude to the participants who attended the launching ceremony of the 14th IBF at the National Library Auditorium.

“Thank you to all loyal participants who have been involved in this IBF from year to year,” said Afrizal.

In a statement, the committee stated in 2015, IBF will work harder to improve the quality of the exhibition through the pre-event activities and supporting events that will be covered by the mass media.

Islamic Book Award (IBA), one of the flagship products of Islamic Book Fair has increased the spirit of authors and publishers to produce quality Islamic books.

For 14 years the organization of Islamic Book Fair has involved many parties and the contribution of those various parties have successfully been making IBF great until today. (L/P007/R04/R11/P3)
