Great March of Return’s Committee Build A “Return” Park  in Gaza

Gaza, MINA – National Committee of for the Return and Blockade Parade or Great March of Return on Thursday, October 10 built a park called “Return” in the Malikah camp area, eastern Gaza, Palestine.

“The park was built to strengthen citizen participation in the march, become a symbol and witness of a variety of national actions and strengthen the right of return for refugees in the minds of every Palestinian,” the Committee of Returns said as quoted from Palestinian Information Center (Palinfo) on Friday, October 11.

The committee said the park was built from remaining houses destroyed during Israeli aggression in Gaza.

The park is planted with dozens of green trees, by providing seating and other facilities, such as toilets.

In addition, an office was also built for the work of the National Committee of Return and Blockade Parade.

“If there is an adequate budget, similar parks will be built in a number of camps in the eastern Gaza region,” the committee said.

The area was chosen because it has an important meaning, as the location of Great March of Return’s action since 78 weeks ago. (T/Sj/P2)
