Al-Khalil, MINA – Four Palestinian citizens were injured in an attack carried out on Saturday evening by extremist Jewish settlers in the Wadi al-Rakhim area of Masafer Yatta, south of al-Khalil, according to the Palestinian Information Center.
Anti-settlement activist Osama Makhamra said that a group of armed settlers attacked residents in Wadi al-Rakhim with stones, batons, and pepper spray, injuring four Palestinians. The victims were rushed to Yatta Hospital, where their injuries were described as moderate.
In the Jordan Valley, settlers attacked the Arab Kaabneh Bedouin community west of al-Auja, north of Jericho. They cut a metal fence surrounding the home of Suleiman Kaabneh and filmed livestock inside his barn, according to al-Baidar Human Rights Organization.
In another incident, settlers stormed the Wadi al-Hayyat community west of al-Auja, conducting searches and provocations that included terrorizing children and spreading panic among residents. Settlers also stole about 5,000 shekels from the house of Atallah Kaabneh.[]
