Tel Aviv, MINA – About 30 rockets were fired from Lebanon toward northern Israel from morning until the afternoon on Friday, injuring four people, according to Israeli media reports, as cited by Anadolu Agency.
The Haaretz newspaper said Hezbollah launched rockets at multiple areas in northern Israel, and four people were wounded in one of the barrages.
The Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper reported fires at a site in the Metula settlement, damage to a building in Misgav Am, and another fire and structural damage in Nahariya following the attacks.
In a series of statements issued early Friday until 1315 GMT, Hezbollah said it carried out 47 attacks targeting Israeli settlements, forces, vehicles, and military sites.

The group said the attacks were conducted “in defense of Lebanon and its people” and in response to Israeli ceasefire violations, adding that the attacks would continue until “the Israeli-American aggression against our country and people stops.”
Air raid sirens sounded at least 29 times across 39 areas in Israel, including Tel Aviv and Ashdod, as a result of the attacks, according to an Anadolu tally based on Israeli media reports, including Yedioth Ahronoth and Channel 12.
The Israeli army has continued its widened assault on Lebanon since Wednesday, killing at least 303 people and injuring 1,150, according to the Lebanese Civil Defense.
A US State Department official told Anadolu on Thursday that the US will host direct talks between Israel and Lebanon next week as part of ceasefire negotiations.

The expected talks come after US President Donald Trump announced a two-week ceasefire with Iran on Tuesday, saying Tehran presented a “workable” 10-point proposal for negotiations.[]
