Dozens of Palestinians Injured by Israeli Forces at Al-Aqsa’s Gate

Ramallah, MINA – The number of Palestinians injured in clashes with the Israeli forces at Al-Aqsa Mosque’s Al-Asbat Gate has increased to 50 people, KUNA reported, quoting the Palestinian Red Crescent Monday.

In a statement, the Crescent added 15 of those injured Palestinians were transferred to Al-Maqased Hospital, while 35 of them were treated on the ground, noting that the injuries varied and nine of them suffered from suffocation due to Israeli stun grenades.

Palestinian eyewitnesses said Israeli forces also raided Al-Maqased Hospital, looking for Palestinian injured during the clashes.

Earlier, six Palestinian worshippers were injured in clashes with the Israeli forces at Al-Aqsa Mosque’s Al-Asbat Gate, among them the secretary-general of the Palestinian National Initiative (PNI) Mustafa Al-Barghouthi.

The Palestinian Red Crescent added in a statement that three of the wounded received treatment immediately at the site, as three others were hurried to hospital. (T/RS5/RS1)
