Calais, 3 Safar 1437/15 November 2015 (MINA) – Some migrants were injured by the blaze which ignited just hours after the French capital was plunged into terror.

One aid worker said, “the details are sketchy at the moment. What we do know is that a number of people in the camps have been injured and we are trying to find medical care for them,” World Bulletin quoted by Mi’raj Islamic News Agency (MINA) as reporting.

He added, “The refugees are currently being taken to the Ashram centre and women’s shelters while the fires are being put out.”

It comes just days after a French politician branded the camp a “lawless slum” where violence is escalating to the point of guerrilla warfare. (T/P006/R07)
