Samarinda, MINA – Borneo FC hosted PSBS Biak at Segiri Stadium, Samarinda, in Week 27 of the 2025/2026 BRI Super League, Saturday afternoon WIB.
Borneo FC is ambitious to keep their title hopes alive at the top of the standings. They need a win to stay close to the league leaders, Persib Bandung.
Currently, Borneo is in second place in the standings with 57 points, four points behind Persib.
Meanwhile, PSBS Biak comes into this match facing the increasingly real threat of relegation. They are struggling to climb off the bottom of the league table, having only collected 18 points.

In this match, goalkeeper Dimas Galih was entrusted with guarding the PSBS Biak goal.

The first half was immediately marked by a threat from Pesut Etam striker Mariano Peralta (10) in the fourth minute. However, the ball, which had already passed goalkeeper Dimas Galih (92), was still saved by Hwang Myung-Hyun (4).

Despite pressure and difficulty in getting the ball flowing, PSBS Biak finally got their goal in spectacular fashion.
Mohcine Hassan Nader (9), who won the ball in Borneo’s territory, fired a long-range shot from outside the penalty box. The ball flew in a beautiful curve, just beyond the reach of national goalkeeper Nadeo Argawinata (1).
GOAL! The ball, unreachable, went into the Pesut Etam goal.

Peralta again
Two goals in the first half proved insufficient, as Peralta scored his second in the 40th minute.
The formation was almost identical. Peralta, escaping the offside trap, dueled with goalkeeper Dimas.
GOAL! The Argentine successfully found the back of the net against PSBS Biak.
The score was now 2-1 in favor of Borneo FC.
