“After the tunnels were closed, the impact was seriously felt by the people of Gaza. Since early June, cement, iron, block, and other building equipment became rare goods. This stopped the development process in Gaza, ” Nur Ikhwan said.

Concerning the development at Indonesian Hospital in Gaza (RSI), Nur Ikhwan said the construction is still going on until now. “Builders of RSI continue to run. We still have stock of building materials”.

As a result of limited building materials such as cement, iron and block in Gaza, “the price of building materials rise dramatically,” Nur Ikhwan added.

“For cement, the price is normally 400 shekels now becomes 700 shekels, and it is difficult to find cement,” Nur Ikhwan, who is also a manager construction of RSI in Gaza, added
