Abdul Qader: Israel Seeking Out Ways to Control Aqsa Mosque
Occupied Jerusalem, MINA – Former Minister of Jerusalem Affairs, Hatem Abdul Qader, warned of escalated Israeli endeavors to hold sway over holy al-Aqsa Mosque—Muslims’ 3rd holiest site.
On the eve of the 48th anniversary of the arson attack on al-Aqsa Mosque, Abdul Qader said that the flames of the fire are still ablaze, in reference to the ceaseless Israeli attempts to impose a new fait accompli at the site, PIC reported.
According to Abdul Qader, the Israeli restrictions at Al-Aqsa and crackdowns on Palestinian youth and Muslim guards are signs of underway attempts to wipe out Muslims’ presence at the site and alter the status quo.
Abdul Qader called on the Muslim nation and international community to speak up for al-Aqsa and take a firm stance against Israel’s sacrilegious schemes.(T/R04/RS5)
