Gaza, MINA – Four Palestinian civilians, including a child, were martyred and others were injured in fresh Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip on Thursday, according to the Palestinian Information Center (PIC).
According to media sources, 12-year-old Adnan al-Qirnawi was killed by Israeli gunfire east of al-Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza.
Two other citizens were killed in separate drone strikes in the town of az-Zawayda in central Gaza.
Meanwhile, a 54-year-old woman named Noura al-Eid was killed by Israeli gunfire in the Bir 19 area of southern Gaza.

Separate Israeli attacks across Gaza left multiple civilians injured, including two in critical condition. Additionally, widespread military activity, including shooting incidents, artillery shelling, drone overflights, and demolitions, was reported in different areas of Gaza.
The locations of Thursday’s killings are significant. Al-Bureij is a refugee camp in central Gaza, while az-Zawayda and Bir 19 are in areas where displaced Palestinians have concentrated.
On Thursday morning, an Israeli drone strike killed one Palestinian and wounded another when it hit a tent sheltering displaced people west of Al-Zawayda, and the two additional drone strikes in the same town later in the day indicate sustained targeting of that area.
The killing of a 12-year-old by gunfire and a 54-year-old woman in Bir 19 adds to a pattern in which civilians, including children and elderly people, are killed in strikes and shooting incidents that occur despite the ceasefire.

On Tuesday, a girl was killed when an Israeli drone struck a tent near Gaza Municipality Park, and on Saturday, two infant girls died from burns after a fire engulfed a displacement tent in al-Mawasi.
The death toll from ceasefire violations has continued to climb. Gaza’s Health Ministry reported that Israeli violations have killed 1,599 Palestinians and wounded 5,774 others since the truce took effect on October 10, 2025, while the cumulative toll since October 8, 2023, has exceeded 74,000 killed and 174,000 wounded, with around 90 percent of civilian infrastructure affected.
The attacks come as Gaza’s displaced population faces a compounding shelter crisis. The winter emergency committee has warned that around 7,800 tents are in hazardous areas and require relocation, while roughly 200,000 dilapidated tents shelter hundreds of thousands of people.
Euro-Med Monitor has warned that Israel is depriving Gazans of safe shelter for a fourth year, and Gaza City residents have been ordered to evacuate unsafe buildings at risk of collapse.[]
