Gaza, MINA – The Hamas Movement has said that the Israeli airstrike on an apartment building in Gaza City that claimed the lives of five civilians, including four women, underscores Israel’s determination to persist in its genocidal war, the Palestinian Information Center reports.
In a statement on Saturday, Hamas called on international mediators and the US administration to take concrete steps to stop Israeli attacks in Gaza and prevent the ceasefire agreement from serving as a cover for continued military operations.
Hamas warned against schemes targeting the Palestinian people’s existence on their land, urging immediate action to protect civilians against Israeli aggression. The Movement also called on the world’s governments to boycott and isolate Israel, and to take effective measures to hold it accountable for its war crimes.
Five Palestinians, including four women, were killed and several others injured in the early hours of Saturday after an Israeli strike targeted an apartment in the west of Gaza City.
