West Bank, MINA – The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) stormed different areas of the West Bank last night and at dawn Monday, raiding homes, kidnapping a number of Palestinian citizens, and abetting settler attacks, according to the Palestine Information Center.

In the northern West Bank, IOF vehicles stormed the town of Ya’bad, southwest of Jenin, and patrolled its neighborhoods.

In Nablus, Palestinian youths repelled a violent attack by extremist Jewish settlers targeting the historic al-Massoudiya area, northwest of the governorate. This prompted the IOF to raid the neighboring town of Burqa, firing a heavy barrage of live ammunition to secure the settlers’ withdrawal.

Concurrently, Israeli forces stormed the towns of Awarta and Odala, southeast of Nablus, and raided homes in the town of Beita to the south.

Meanwhile, Israeli forces stormed the heart of Nablus, where they raided the Fatayer area and kidnapped two young men after searching their homes.

In Salfit, Israeli forces raided several homes in the town of al-Zawiya without making arrests.

In western Ramallah, Israeli forces backed settlers during an attack near Jammala village, opening fire with live ammunition at unarmed local youths who had gathered to defend their homes.

In al-Khalil (Hebron), the IOF kidnapped two citizens during a raid in Dura City. Israeli forces also raided the Wadi al-Zareer area in al-Khalil, where they ransacked homes and kidnapped a young man.[]
