Gaza, MINA – Three Palestinians, including a child, were killed in Israeli artillery shelling in Deir al-Balah, central Gaza on Wednesday, marking another violation of the ongoing ceasefire agreement, Anadolu Agency reported.
Medical sources reported that the bodies of the victims were taken to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital after the attack targeted the city’s eastern areas.
This incident occurred as part of a series of Israeli military operations early Wednesday, which included airstrikes in eastern Gaza City and Deir al-Balah, demolition operations in the north, and naval gunfire along the Gaza City coastline.
According to witnesses, Israeli military vehicles also fired heavily toward eastern Khan Younis in southern Gaza. The Israeli army maintains control over large buffer zones, occupying more than 50% of the territory.

Since the ceasefire began on October 10, 2025, Israeli attacks have resulted in 483 Palestinian deaths and 1,287 injuries, while restrictions on aid have exacerbated the dire living conditions for approximately 2.4 million residents.
This follows a two-year military campaign that started in October 2023, which killed over 71,000 Palestinians, wounded more than 171,000, and destroyed about 90% of Gaza’s civilian infrastructure.[]
