Abu Obeida told reporters that the gun-battle was planned in advance, adding that “we had recently managed to penetrate into the spy system thatIsraeluses against our fighters.
That was a big success for us, where our men waited for the soldiers on Thursday night and clashed with them.”
The Hamas spokesman also said that the fighters let the Israeli army force enter250 metersinto the depth of the Gaza Strip, adding that the militants surprised the soldiers and wounded four of them.
“Hamas militants uniquely clashed with the Israeli occupation soldiers in a short distance and taught the enemy a very tough lesson, but three militants got killed and the soldiers pulled back,” said Abu Obeida.
