Saudi Distributes US$ 71, 25 Million to Indonesia for Humanitarian Aid

Makkah, MINA – For a period of four years from 2015 to March 2019, Government of Saudi Arabia delivered humanitarian aid to Indonesia. It was delivered through King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center.

It was conveyed by Dr. Abdullah Alrabeeah, as Supervisor of General King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center at a press conference at Four Point Hotel, Makkah, Saudi Arabia, Friday, as quoted from Sindonews.

“Indonesia and Malaysia are two countries that have received assistance from our institution,” he said.

Furthermore, the aid consisted of recovery assistance of US$ 23.5 million, housing assistance of US$ 20.7 million, food security of US$ 8.2 million, and the rest in form of logistics, health, education, clean water and multi-aid assistance sector.

This humanitarian aid is a form of concern for Government of Saudi Arabia for humanity. Indonesia receives rocks amounting to US$ 71.25 million for humanitarian assistance. 27 humanitarian projects such as houses, health, education, clean water, transportation. (T/Sj/P2)
