Egyptian President Makes Telephone Calls to Jordanian King and Abbas

Cairo, MINA – Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi made a telephone call Sunday to Jordanian King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussain.

During the telephone conversation, they discussed the latest developments in the Middle East, particularly the Palestinian Cause and the latest developments on moving US Embassy to Jerusalem, according to SPA.

They also discussed the ways of supporting the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, including establishment of an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital.

On the same day, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi has also made a telephone call to Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas.

AL-Sisi and Abbas discussed the latest developments of the US administration’s decision to relocate the US embassy to Jerusalem.

They also discussed repercussions of the US administration’s decision and means of reaching a just solution that guarantees the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people to establish their independent state with East Jerusalem as its capital. (T/RS5/RS1)
