WAFA Signs Cooperation Agreements with RT TV and Sputnik

Sputnik Signs Cooperation Agreement With Palestinian News Agency WAFA.

Moscow, MINA – The Palestine News and Info Agency and General Authority for Palestinian Radio and Television Tuesday signed two cooperation agreements with RT TV network (formerly Russia Today) and Russia’s Sputnik news agency.

The agreements were signed in the presence of president Mahmoud Abbas on the sidelines of his official visit to Moscow, where he met with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin.

The agreement signed between WAFA and Sputnik includes cooperation between the two agencies in various fields, especially in the field of news exchange.

The second agreement was signed between the General Authority for Palestinian Radio and Television and RT television network.

The agreement includes the promotion of joint cooperation, especially with regard to news and program exchange and exchange of experiences. (T/RS5/RS1)
