US’ PROPOSAL TO ISRAEL OVER SECURITY ARRANGEMENTS WITH FUTURE PALESTINIAN STATE

      Wahington, 1 Shafar 1435/5 Desember 2013 (MINA) – Israeli Haaretz has reported that the US administration has prepared a plan for the final security arrangements between Israel and the future Palestinian state.
 
      According to the newspaper, retired US General John Allen “who developed the security concept” will present the plan to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and US Secretary of State John Kerry during a joint meeting on Thursday.
 
       Kerry is due to arrive in Israel on Wednesday to meet with Netanyahu to discuss the peace process, Middle East Monitor (MEMO) reported as  cited by Mi’raj News Agency (MINA) Tuesday (5/12).
 
       He will also visit Ramallah to see Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas.
 
       Allen was appointed recently as Special Advisor to the US Secretary of Defence and Secretary of Foreign Affairs following his retirement as commander of the International Security Assistance Force and US Forces Afghanistan (USFOR-A) in March 2013.(T/P012/P03)
