Washington, MINA – US Congressman Sean Casten has introduced a bill that would prohibit the use of American-supplied weapons in occupied Gaza and the West Bank if Israel violates the October 10, 2025 ceasefire, pursues annexation, or fails to address illegal settler violence against Palestinians.
Casten stated that the Ceasefire Compliance Bill is designed to align US military aid with American law, interests, and values while maintaining “Israel’s right to defend itself,” as quoted by TRT World on Wednesday.
“As one of the United States’ most important allies, Israel must ensure that its policies and use of US military aid align with American values, interests, and law,” he said.
“It starts with requiring compliance with the October 10, 2025 ceasefire agreement and the measures outlined in the 20-point plan, curbing settler violence, and rejecting annexation in the West Bank,” he stated in a press release.[]
