Gaza, 24 Shawwal 1435/20 August 2014 (MINA) – Indirect talks between Palestinians and Israeli occupation regime delegations mediated by Egyptians, Tuesday, failed again after Israel did not approve the points proposed by Egypt.

Hamas spokesman Sami Abu Zuhri stated that the Israeli occupation authorities deliberately were doing several attacks against some Palestinian places during the bargaining negotiations in Cairo to cancel the negotiation.

Meanwhile, a spokesman of Jihad Islami Khalid Al Batsh in a statement stated: “We did not reach a final agreement with the Israelis during the bargaining due to the stiffness of Zionists”.

“We assumed that there is no clear commitment from Israel. So, we will withdraw our delegates tomorrow from Cairo, although Egypt continued to persuade to return to the talks again and still look forward to the success of these negotiations,  “he said.

“Israel has suffered heavy losses during the battle. So they attempted to return the favor by stalling. Israel refused to give Palestinians legal rights and meet our demands. Our priority is clear, the cessation of attacks. We would not wave the white flag to the Israelis, ” said Al Batsh in Cairo.

Al Batsh added, the Egyptians told us that the negotiations have not yet been finished  and they would continue their efforts to restore the two delegations to Cairo again to reach agreement.

Israeli occupation regime demanded to disarm resistance fighters weapons. Of course, we refused to deal with this and the resistance fighters will never be disarmed until the end of this crisis. Israel wanted to step on us in this agreement and it will never happen, ” said Al Batsh.

Other members of the Palestinian delegation, Esat Rashq said that Israeli occupation regime continues to deny and delay the agreement.

“Egypt is still waiting for the answer from the Israeli occupation regime of what was agreed until 12:00 midnight, the expiration time of the truce.  “I’m sure there will be no answer from Israel,” said Rishq two hours before the expiration of the truce. (L/K01/P04/E01)
