The Influence of the Koran in Family Psychology

Jakarta, 22 Jumadal Awwal 1437/ 01 March 2016 1437 (MINA) – Ustadz Subki Al Bughuri has said the Quran has enormous influence in the family psychology as early education which is based on the Kitabullah will form a good character on children.

The preacher who is also known as a resource person in various religious-themed programs on private televisions made the remarks in a talk show on the Quranic Psychology in the Family organized on the sideline of the Islamic Book Fair 2016 in Senayan, Jakarta, Monday (29/2)

“Quranic education instilled by parents to their children on early stage will form  good character and make them always clinging to the Koran so that it forms strong aqidah or the strong belief of Islamic faith and enrich the soul.” the preacher said

Meanwhile, Dr. H. M Achmad Mubarok, one of performers in the talk show, said Koran verses when recited and heard can affect a person’s psychology.

“Introducing Quran to children can be done in two stages, the first stage is pre-born by the play reading of the Koran when a child is still in the womb, the second is play and teach the Quran to children from an early age so that they are accustomed to,” said Dr. Achmad

Dr. Ahmad added that learning to recite the Koran is not difficult today because there are a lot of methods that have been adapted to technological advances to facilitate learning and make learning Al Quran as a fun activity for the learners.

Besides Subki and Dr. Achmad was also present Dr. HJ. Dewi Motik, the owner of Ar Rahman Moik primary shool,

Dewi Motik underlined the importance of teaching Iqra that means to read since childhood, but according to her reading not just read things visible, but rather the meaning.

“I’m very lucky because since my childhood I had been taught the Koran, not only reading, but understanding the meaning of every verse of the Koran itself. When we grow up we do not easily swayed and lost because we have a handle that is the Quran. she said.

The talk show closed with a book launching of Iqro Adjani compiled by Dr. Budiantoni and his wife, aimed at facilitatig the public to learn reading the Koran. (L/fit/R07)
