Selangor Signs Up Evan Dimas and Ilham UA to Strengthen the Red Giant

Kuala Lumpur, MINA – Selangor has signed up eight President’s Cup players and two young Indonesian national players to strengthen the Red Giants for the 2018 Malaysia League (M-League), Bernama reported.

Selangor Football Association President (FAS) president Datuk Seri Subahan Kamal said the two Indonesians are Evan Dimas Darmono and Ilham Udin Armaiyn, who won the 2017 SEA Games bronze medal.

The two players played for Bhayangkara FC who won their first ever League 1 title this season.

Subahan said Selangor also signed up Sean Eugene Selvaraj, 21, from Negeri Sembilan and extended the contract of Spanish striker Rufino Segovia,32.

“We want to showcase our young players from the President’s Cup team who won this year’s tournament. The Selangor FA has faith in young talents and depends on the head coach (P. Maniam) to mould them. (T/RS5/RS1)
