Doha, 18 Jumadal Awwal 1436/9 March 2015 (MINA) – Member of Hamas political bureau, Sami Khater, called on the international community, the United Nations, and the Arab League to work on lifting the siege on Gaza Strip and to abide by their pledges and commitments for Gaza reconstruction.

In press statements on Sunday, Khater urged the Arab League to prioritize the issues of ending the siege on Gaza and reconstructing of the coastal enclave in the Arab summit’s agenda, Palestinian Information Center (PIC) quoted by Mi’raj Islamic News Agency (MINA) as reporting.

“The conditions have been worsening in Gaza due to the continuation of the unjust siege which has been imposed for eight years in addition to the international community’s failure to abide by its commitments toward the opening of border crossings and Gaza reconstruction”, he said.
