In a statement, the ministry said plastic bags have become part of our daily life and are the most dangerous industrial materials that do great harm to the lives of human beings and other creatures on earth.

“Every day we are seeing different types of plastic. We don’t know the danger it poses to our health and the environment. Plastic is made from petroleum products and other chemical substances. It needs hundreds of years for them to dissolve in nature and eventually affects our health and the environment,” said the ministry.
