Doha, MINA – The State of Qatar has strongly condemned attacks by Israeli colonists against several villages across the occupied West Bank, describing them as an extension of Israeli policies aimed at escalating violence against the Palestinian people and as a flagrant violation of international law and international legitimacy resolutions.
Quoted from WAFA, in a statement issued on Saturday, the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the attacks reflect the Israeli occupation government’s policy of enabling colonists to commit further violations and assaults under the protection of the Israeli army and security forces.
The ministry called on Israel to fulfil its obligations under international law and international humanitarian law, put an end to colonist attacks and hold those responsible accountable.
It also urged the international community to take urgent action to halt Israel’s repeated attacks, provide protection for the Palestinian people and hold those responsible for the escalating violence accountable, ensuring that they do not enjoy impunity.

Qatar’s Foreign Ministry reaffirmed the country’s steadfast position in support of the justice of the Palestinian cause and the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, including the establishment of an independent Palestinian state along the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital. []
