PFLP CALLS FOR FORMING UNITED RESISTANCE FRONT

Gaza, 6 Rabu’ul Akhir 1436/27 January 2015 (MINA) – The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) called Monday for forming a united front based on resistance option to face the “Zionist-US-Western reactionary” triangle.

The PFLP statement called for “opening all fronts before resistance against the occupation and to confront the Zionist-US aggression which threatens our peoples’ future, identity, and national causes,” The Palestinian Information Center (PIC) quoted by Mi’raj Islamic News Agency (MINA) as reporting.

The PFLP renewed its strong rejection to re-submitting the Palestinian proposal to end occupation within two years with the UN Security Council, calling for increasing Palestinian efforts to join UN institutions and conventions in order to prosecute Israeli leaders for committing war crimes.

The statement stressed the need to end the internal division according to Cairo agreements, accelerate Gaza reconstruction, and to form a national front based on resistance option.

The PFLP also called for re-structuring the PLO, to end all forms of division and to re-establish a new Palestinian political strategy based on partnership and ending the path of Oslo accords.(T/P008/R03)
