Gianyar, MINA – Bali United FC hosted Persijap Jepara in the 23rd match of the 2025-2026 BRI Super League at the Kapten I Wayan Dipta Stadium in Gianyar, Bali, on Saturday evening.

Referee Yudai Yamamoto then pointed to the visiting team’s penalty spot. However, the Japanese referee then went to check the VAR recording outside the field.

The referee observed and communicated with the VAR room for a considerable amount of time, demonstrating his caution in making his decision.

Referee Yudai then ruled that the incident was not a foul, as Martinez’s foot was deemed to have touched the ball before Kadek Agung’s injury.
