Jakarta, MINA – Persija Jakarta and PSM Makassar played to a 1-1 draw throughout the first half of their Week 22 match of the 2025/2026 BRI Super League on Friday evening at the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS).
Persija scored the first goal in the 30th minute through Moroccan player Alaaeddine Ajaraie (41).
Seven minutes later, Juku Eja responded through Sheriddin Boboev (21) from Iran.
In the first minute of the second half, PSM Makassar immediately threatened in front of the Persija goal. However, goalkeeper Andritany Ardhiyasa (26) was able to secure the ball.

Persija Jakarta continued to pin down PSM Makassar’s defense throughout the second half. Their constant pressure finally forced goalkeeper Reza Arya Pratama (30) into a fatal error in the 67th minute.
Yuran Fernandes’ (4) backpass was kicked by goalkeeper Reza. However, his shot was not perfect, and the ball fell to Maxwell (99), who was free in the middle of the penalty box.
Maxwell easily headed the ball into the empty net, guarded by goalkeeper Reza.
Goal. The score instantly changed to 2-1 in the 67th minute.

That score remained until the end of the match.
The three points secured Persija’s place as runner-up to Borneo FC. []
