Gaza, MINA – A Palestinian man died on Sunday evening from wounds sustained in an earlier Israeli strike in the central Gaza Strip, medical sources confirmed.
The victim was identified as Mousa Abdullah al-Khawas, 36, a resident of the Al-Maghazi refugee camp. He succumbed to severe injuries after Israeli reconnaissance aircraft targeted the camp area at dawn earlier in the day.
His death brings the total number of Palestinians killed in Gaza since the ceasefire took effect on October 11 to 852, according to health officials. Meanwhile, more than 2,400 others have been injured, many of them women and children.
The Israeli occupation military has not issued any comment regarding the strike. However, local sources said the attack occurred in an area that was not classified as a military zone under the ceasefire agreement.

The Al-Maghazi refugee camp, home to more than 30,000 Palestinians, has been repeatedly targeted throughout Israel’s genocidal war on Gaza, which began in October 2023.
The camp’s infrastructure has been largely destroyed, leaving residents struggling with severe shortages of food, water, and medical supplies.
Human rights organizations have condemned the ongoing Israeli attacks as violations of the ceasefire, calling on the international community to intervene and protect Palestinian civilians.[]
