Jakarta, MINA – The Embassy of Pakistan in Jakarta commemorated the first anniversary of “Marka-e-Haq” in a solemn and respectful atmosphere on Saturday, reaffirming Pakistan’s commitment to regional peace, national sovereignty, and resilience.
The event was attended by the Pakistani diaspora, media representatives, honored guests, and Indonesian citizens. The presence of various community members reflected the strong solidarity of the Pakistani community in Indonesia as well as the close bilateral relations between Islamabad and Jakarta, which have been established for decades.
During the ceremony, messages from the President of Pakistan and the Prime Minister of Pakistan were read to honor the sacrifices of the nation’s martyrs and to affirm Pakistan’s determination to maintain peace and territorial integrity.
The Pakistani Defense Attaché also conveyed his respect to Pakistani armed forces personnel, who he said have demonstrated courage, professionalism, and high dedication in safeguarding the country’s sovereignty from various threats.

Deputy Head of the Pakistani Mission in Indonesia, Roshan Lal, emphasized in his speech that Pakistan consistently supports regional stability and peace through dialogue and diplomacy.
He highlighted Pakistan’s constructive role in helping ease tensions during the recent crisis between the United States and Iran, as well as promoting peaceful resolutions to various conflicts in the region.
Roshan Lal also reaffirmed Pakistan’s moral, political, and diplomatic support for the right to self-determination of the people of Jammu and Kashmir, who remain under Indian occupation.
According to him, sustainable peace in South Asia cannot be achieved without a just resolution of the Kashmir dispute, in line with the aspirations of the Kashmiri people and UN Security Council resolutions.

He added that the commemoration of “Marka-e-Haq” is not only a moment to remember history but also to build a stronger, more united, and prosperous future for Pakistan.[]
